Celebrities Support Lady Zamar After Opening Rape Allegation Case Against Sjava

Several female celebrities in Mzansi have come out to show their support for Lady Zamar as she opens a rape case against Sjava.
The ‘Collide’ crooner alleged that her former partner, Jabulani Hadebe, popularly known by the stage name Sjava, had committed the incident at the Porche Villa Hotel. This happened on the 9th of September 2017, when the two had performed at the Royal Heritage Festival in Venda.

The ‘Love Is Blind’ hit maker approached the police towards the end of last year with allegations of sexual assaults from her former partner, Sjava.

The sexual assault case was registered in Pretoria, at the Lyttelton police station. It was later transferred to. Thohoyandou due of investigation.

According to the police statement which detailed Lady Zamar’s revelation

He woke up and started kissing her and she kissed him back. And he started taking her clothing off and she kept quite [sic] and did oral sex. He took the condom and put it on his penis and penetrated her.

She tried to stop him during the oral sex but he did not stop. She just let it happen as he was stronger than her. She was crying as it was painful. When he finished, he got off and held her and told her to sleep on the same day at 12:00.

Several female celebrities, such as actress Zenande Mfenyana and poet and singer Ntsiki Mazwai and radio personality Penny Lebyane, have taken to Twitter to declare their support for Lady Zamar.

Organisers of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival recently announced that they would be dropping Sjava from their festival line-up.
