The origin of their disagreement can be traced back to allegations by Skhotheni-Dlamini that Maweni had stolen her soap, believed to bring good fortune. The situation further intensified when Skhotheni-Dlamini accused Maweni of suggesting that she was using her children in traditional rituals, known as ukuthwala. However, the feud took an unexpected turn when musician Oscar Mbo’s name was dragged into the mix. Maweni alleged that Skhotheni-Dlamini was having an affair with the DJ. In a recent Instagram Live session, Maweni expressed her desire to confront Skhotheni-Dlamini face-to-face, challenging her to a street fight. She went on to label Skhotheni-Dlamini as someone who sleeps with Oscar Mbo, further fueling the controversy.
On the other hand, Skhotheni-Dlamini, who practices polyandry and is married to two men, Monde Shange and Sibusiso, has been vocal about not fearing Maweni. Adding another layer to the drama, Maweni made claims about Skhotheni-Dlamini’s husband, Monde, being bisexual.
