Special Olympics South Africa today confirmed that a number of celebrities will be participating in their Unified Football event taking place during the upcoming Arnold Classics Africa Multi Sports Festival, Arts and Lifestyle Expo taking place this weekend in Johannesburg.
The organisation will host a 7-a-side recreational football game during the expo which will see Unified teams comprising of celebrities and Special Olympics athletes take to the field.
Special Olympics South Africa has received overwhelming support and interest from both the athletes and local celebrities to get back into action.
The celebrities include:
- Award winning Radio Presenter DJ Sabby Mtshali
- Actor Chris Jaftha
- Actor Cedric Fourie
- Legendary actor David Rees
- Radio host Lula Odiba
- Comedian Nicholas Goliath
- Author and fitness guru Letshego Zulu
- Multi-talented artist Clint Brink
- WBA Title boxer Paul Kamanga
- Soccer player Diamond Thopola
- TV Host and actor Sbu Shongwe
- Artist Tumi Tladi
The first edition of the Special Olympics SA Unified football game will take place on Saturday, the 04th June at the Ruimsig Stadium in Roodepoort from 2-3pm.
