At the moment, the group has got four platinum songs. “Umuthi” is 6x platinum, “Ibhanoyi” is 4x platinum, “Love Letter” is 3x platinum, and “Summer Yo Muthi” is 2x platinum.
The Ambitiouz Entertainment duo shared the news on their platinum glory with their fans in an Instagram post a day ago. The wave of congratulations that followed their post indicates that fans are just as pleased to know of their triumph.
Blaq Diamonds has been called one of the groups that has made Ambitiouz Entertainment, easily one of the most controversial record labels in South Africa, retain its sauce. True or false, it is clear Blaq Diamond is now a force in South African Music and in the music of Southern Africa as a whole.
The two are much loved for their music, so it isn’t surprising they should have this number of songs earning platinum certifications back home in South Africa.
