SA Hip Hop star Kwesta lists his top 5 SA rappers of all time.
There is no doubt that South Africa leads when it comes to rap and Hip Hop in Africa. The SA Hip Hop scene has presented some amazing talent to the scene, who have helped promote the genre in the best ways.
Kwesta reigns as one of the best rappers in the industry. With dope albums under his belt and hit singles, he is one of the most talented rappers in the country. But like every talented artist, he has been inspired by someone.
Kwesta recently appeared in an interview with Slikour, where he listed his top 5 best rappers of all time. He said ProKid is on top of the list, and everyone else rounds out the entire top 5 in no particular order. He listed Zakwe, ProVerb, HHP, Zola, and Stogie T.
Honoured to be added to the list, Zakwe reposted the video and thanked Kwesta. He wrote, “Means a lot to be mentioned among the best, by the best.” However, Kwesta’s list has gotten mixed reactions from SA Hip Hop fans. While some approved, others claimed he could have picked rappers who are still alive. Watch the video below.
