Anele “Nelli” Tembe might be dead, but her ghost is walking pretty tall, refusing to be consoled, throwing up questions everywhere.
This has forced AKA to release a statement implying that she jumped to her death that fateful morning of 11 April 2021 from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town. At the time of her death, the overwhelming opinion was that she committed suicide. But her father denied this at the funeral.
With AKA denying he abused her and insinuating that she might have carried some trauma from her past relationships into her relationship with him, several images have popped online showing AKA and Nelli Tembe’s tumultuous tiffs, with the rapper breaking down doors to get to her.
The images have thrown AKA on the trends of Mzansi Twitter. You can check out some of the images below.
By the way, prior to Nelli Tembe’s tragic death, at some point in her relationship with AKA, the pair had reportedly fought and ended up at the police station trying to file charges against each other.
They had changed their minds about filing charges and returned to loving each other again – well, until the morning of 11 April when she reportedly jumped to her death.
