American model and author, Chrissy Teigen says award ceremonies are “weird” without alcohol.
We have heard a lot of the world’s biggest celebrities describe award ceremonies and events as “crazy”. So, it isn’t really surprising to hear Chrissy Teigen say that it feels “weird” without alcohol. The American star celebrated six months of sobriety in January.
According to her, she “is used to getting hammered” everytime she attends these events. Now, she finds it strange when she goes because she cannot have alcohol. In a statement shared at the Hollywood Beauty Awards, Teigen said “These things are very weird for me, because I’m so used to getting so hammered at these things!”
She opened up about connecting with enjoying alcohol at awards, but also revealed that she now enjoys not having “immense regret” over something that she might have said or done while under the influence of alcohol.
She is quoted saying “Awards season, I very much connect to enjoying yourself and having champagne, but I also connected with those feelings of immense regret or stupid moments. Like, ‘I can’t believe I said that’. or ‘I can’t believe I did that’ and ‘I’m so embarrassed’. So, it’s so nice not to have those feelings anymore.”
Teigen also revealed that she and John Legend are trying for another child. She shared that she has completed her last round of IVF and that she is “so much healthy”.
