Former 999 Records artist Cici is in a happy place emotionally and living with a man she’s more than proud to call her husband. But it wasn’t this beautiful years before.
Years back, she had an acrimonious breakup from then-lover and record label boss Arthur Mafokate, leading to claims of abuse and counterclaims that ultimately brought the couple to court.
Looking back, Cici is not only happy in the current state of her life and relationship, she’s keen the world should know. In a recent chat with TimesLive, she had disclosed that she got married in a traditional to the father of her son Diallo but decided to keep that away from the public.
She didn’t do a white wedding in that she had a son for her man just after they had their lobola negotiations. Now, according to her, she lives for her tot.
On why she would not reveal her man, she insisted that she’s very public with him but very private on social media because there are aspects of her life she needs to protect.
