A clip of DJ Zinhle and Murdah Bongz’s daughter Asante practising her speech recently popped online and went viral in no time.
In the clip, the adorable toddler could be seen saying the names of family members, apparently after her mother in the background. The clip was shared on TikTok by what appears to be a fan account of the couple.
It soon spread to other social media platforms. But the reactions were mostly the same – delight at the kid’s effort in pronouncing the names of family members. You can check out the video below.

Asante is the product of DJ Zinhle’s relationship with Murdah Bongz. The two started an affair not long after the “Uzobuya” singer ended her relationship with AKA, with whom she already had a daughter (Kairo Owethu Forbe).
It’s been years now and despite the criticisms from some members of the public, some of whom claimed the relationship wouldn’t last because DJ Zinhle was already a baby mama when they got married, the couple has managed to retain their bond.
By the way, Murdah Bongz, a member of the now-defunct group Black Motion, has an album dedicated to his daughter Asante, with whom he apparently shares a deep bond.
