Musician and media personality Scoop Makhathini found himself on the trends of Mzansi Twitter after a local Youtubet Rea Gopane alleged that he (Scoop) had told him that Bonang had a cocaine habit and had transferred same to AKA.
Miffed by the claim, which she described as false, Bonang had threatened to file a R5ook suit against Gopane. Not ready for a battle in court, Gopane had made a retraction immediately.
In a statement, he had apologized for the statement he made linking Bonang to cocaine, stating that he regrets whatever inconvenience his statement might have caused Bonang, a former girlfriend to AKA, promising it would never happen again. You can check out his statement below.
Asked by a fan if she would be slamming Scoop Makhathini with a similar suit, Bonang had replied in the affirmative.
So far, Scoop Makhathini has been silent about Bonang’s threat. The fans have not been silent, though. Some had laughed at Scoop, stating he should learn from Gopane.
