Hip-hop champ Gigi Lamayne is unrelenting in her criticism of other celebs in the industry over their silence over the death of Collins Khosa. The young man was shot dead by soldiers recently.
A preliminary inquiry alleged absolved the soldiers of complicity in Khosa’s death. But many are not having it; they are adamant the slain youth should get justice. Gigi Lamayne, who once confessed to needing relationship advice, is one of the voices in the vanguard of justice.
Earlier the songstress had deplored the killing of George Floyd in the United States are Collins Khosa in South Africa. Now her energies seem focused on the case of her compatriot Collins Khosa.
She understands the struggle is not hers alone, so she is calling for collective effort. She is somewhat miffed that the things that trend are mostly unimportant and unhelpful to the community. This much was evident in her tweet.
This isn’t the first cause the songbird, a notable protégé of the late PRO, had taken up a cause, nor would it be in the last. Gigi Lamayne has put herself out there for a cause she believes in. Maybe something good can come out of this?
