Congolese Singer-songwriter Tresor Acquires R100 million Firm in SA

Congolese singer and songwriter Tresor has reportedly acquired a R100 million firm in South Africa.

Big ups to Tresor for making big moves. The famous award-winning singer let his business side lead with a recent acquisition in SA. The news was shared by Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, who wrote on X that the musician bought a state-of-the-art luxury farm in Gauteng.

The report reads,

“The sprawling 500-acre farm is nestled in the Cradle of Humankind and was christened GOMA, paying homage to Mukengerwa Tresor Riziki’s hometown.”

The news of the acquisition first broke in November 2023 when IOL reported that the Congolese singer and songwriter acquired a R100 million Jacquel Ventures investment. According to further reports, the estate will build “restaurants, an outdoor amphitheater, a recording studio, an art and exhibition gallery, a designer boutique hotel and few venues for special occasions.”

It further states that Tresor’s goal is to build generational wealth for himself and for “the African child that dares to do.” He told IOL in a statement last year,

“Jacquel Ventures has been a long-life dream. I have dedicated most of my life to music, and it has changed my life beyond my wildest dreams. It has been my primary creative outlet, but I also must confess my deep love for fashion, film, architecture, interior design, and entrepreneurship that I am excited to explore. Be ready for all that I am, unapologetically, and in the loudest form.”
