South African actress Connie Ferguson has earned the praise of her compatriots following the heartwarming congratulatory message she sent to the latest beauty queen in town, Miss South Africa, Natasha Joubert.
Natasha was crowned Miss South Africa over the weekend, But her crown provoked controversy across the country, with some tweeps noting that she wasn’t the most deserving of the award.
Connie wouldn’t be dragged into the whole drama, however. She attended the pageant finale where the winner was crowned and shared snaps from the occasion – which she went to alongside her “sister.”
