Multiple reports are claiming that the controversial blogger Musa Khawula is currently in jail for murdering his friends years ago. Allegedly, he is serving 15 years for the crime.
But we can confirm that it is a mere rumour at this point and that the self-acclaimed “pope of pop culture” is not in jail for his alleged crimes yet. It has not gotten to that.
While he appeared at the Western Cape Court earlier, the case was actually deferred to January 24. So, except there should be radical changes, a verdict on the case may not be given until early next year.
In one of his YouTube videos, the controversial blogger confessed to murdering his former partner and friend Wandile Khambule, noting that he merely acted in self-defence, If indeed that is the case, it is left for the court to decide. But the decision has not been made yet.
Fact is, many South African celebrities will be more than happy to see Musa sent to the slammer for murder, having made their lives unbearable with his stories about them – all false and malicious stories, they would say.
Well, it remains to be seen what the court’s verdict will be in the coming days.
