Coronavirus: Amanda Black Laments Crowded Rallies Amid Specter Of A Fourth Wave

With elections close by and political parties doing anything and everything they can to sway voters and sweep power, Amanda Black has called for caution among political parties as they hold rallies, seemingly ignoring the specter of a fourth wave of the coronavirus.

In a recent post to Instagram, she had shared a picture of a crowded political rally. In the caption to the post, she had noted on the claims of an imminent fourth wave. She noted rallies are thronged and people’s livelihoods are still threatened.

She bemoaned the fact that the ruling ANC, which she used as an example in her post, is unconcerned about spreading the coronavirus during elections. She ultimately expressed the hope South Africa will not have another lockdown during the festive season and people would not lose their lives, loved ones and businesses as a result of the carelessness apparent during the campaigns.
