Critics’ Choice Awards: Thuso Mbedu Stuns in Louis Vuitton Dress, South Africans Impressed

From winning onscreen to winning on the runway right down to the red carpet, South African actress Thuso Mbedu continues to woo the Rainbow Nation with her easy charms and accomplishments.

She was at the 28th Critics’ Choice Awards recently, where she stunned in apparel from Louis Vuitton. She shared pictures of her looks and dress on her verified Twitter account. She looked gorgeous – something many South Africans acknowledged.

In the caption to the pictures, she mentioned the awards she was attending, as well as the luxury brand that clothed her. Her stylists Wayman and Micah weren’t left out, as they got a shoutout as well. Equally acknowledged were her hair stylist Sharif Poston and her makeup artist Rebekah Aladdin.

Thuso Mbedu is one of the South African actresses on the international film scene and one that many of her compatriots are more than happy to say they are proud of. And even younger people look up to her for inspiration.

Her acting odyssey has seen her in networks covering some of the biggest names in global pop, from Beyoncé to Rihanna. For Thuso Mbedu, though, these wins are just her beginnings. The future holds so much in store already.
