DMW boss Davido might have nicked another career win with the recent news that he would feature in a new episode of the classic film Coming To America.
Titled Coming To America 2, the new flick will retain much of its original cast. The feature would be a first for the Nigerian songster, and he is excited about having a role in the film. He stated that much himself.
The original Coming To America premiered in 1988 to critical acclaim. The vast of the first episode include Garcelle Beauvais, Eddie Murphy, Paul Bates, Victoria Dillard, and James Earl Jones. It had no Nigerian.
But the second part of the film will – which is all the more reason Davido is excited about being involved. His fans are just as excited, as should be obvious from their responses to the news he would be part of the cast.
In the sequel, Prince Akeem, who is set to become the king of Zemunda, discovers he has a son he never knew. Pretty suspenseful?
