Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido says DJ Maphorisa has always hated him.
This month seems to have come with so much drama. We cannot lie and say that all of it has not entertained us. DJ Maphorisa is caught in the midst of the drama, but the Amapiano DJ is not throwing punches.
It all started when Phori corrected a Davido fan who stated that the Nigerian star brought Amapiano to Nigerian two years ago with the “Ke Star Remix.” Phori replied, saying that he and Kabza were the first to put WizKid and Burna Boy on a Piano song, “Sponono.” He called it a “historic moment.”
Davido replied, claiming that Maphorisa had never liked him even though he’s always been nice to him. He further made a Piano joke out of it, which blew up on Twitter. Well, Phori has since replied, saying he isn’t fighting with him but is adding to the Amapiano story.
