Davido’s Album “A Good Time” Surpasses 1 Billion Streams

A year after it was released, Davido’s “A Good Time” album has recorded over 1 billion streams across all streaming platforms – a record for an album bu a Nigerian artiste.

Columbia record made this known in a post polished on Instagram exactly 18 hours ago.

“A Good Time” was intensely anticipated, and when it dropped, it blew the minds of the listening public. The 17-track compilation featured appearances from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Gunna, Chris Brown, Popcaan, Naira Marley, Dremo, Yonda, Peruzzi, and WurlD.

Individually, the tracks in the album had done great, too. For instance, “Fall,” which was released years before the album, is reportedly one of the top 100 most searched songs on Shazam in January 2019.

In February of the same year, it was recognized as the longest-charting Nigeria song in billboard history.

Also, same month, two songs from the album, “Blow My Mind” (Ft. Chris Brown) and “Risky” (Ft. Popcaan) were certified platinum in the United States.

This milestone will surely gladden Davido’s heart and inpire him to greater productivity.
