Popular Mzansi DJ DBN Gogo cancels her performances at YAM Festival and Grillyard.
DBN Gogo is currently one of South Africa and the continent’s most sort after hitmakers. So her inclusion in the lineup of performers at the YAM Festival and Grillyard in Manchester this weekend was no surprise at all. Sadly, Gogo could not make them.
The Amapiano hitmaker took to social media to announce that this resulted from unforeseen circumstances concerning travel restrictions and immigration policy. She revealed that it hindered her from being able to make the shows in the UK.
Gogo also further explained that she and she had tried to meet the regulations and expedite their journey, but that was unsuccessful. However, she promises to make every other show that she’s scheduled to perform at as she’s followed the said regulations and done all that she’s supposed to do.

Due to unforeseen circumstances with regard to travelling restrictions and immigration policy, it is with great disappointment that I will not be able to be present at Yam Carnival in London and Grillyard in Manchester.
We have tried our utmost best to adhere to regulations and expedite our tourney to the UK, with respect for the government policy. Unfortunately, we have not succeeded…yet.
It would be an understatement to say that I am sorry. I am gutted that I can’t be there, as every moment I share with my people on the dance floor is precious to me. I hate to disappoint you.
With that said, I am not giving up. Once I’ve abided by the law and done the things, you can catch me at other gigs advertised!
