Demi Lovato On Switching Back To Using “She/Her” Pronouns Again

A year after she identified as nonbinary and changed her pronouns to “they,” singer Demi Lovato appears to have had a change of heart and now wishes to be identified with the pronouns she/her – what she was using previously.

During a podcast interview, the celebrated singer noted that she has been feeling more feminine, hence the decision to re-adopt her previous pronouns.

Spilling more details, she noted that she’s pretty “fluid” when it comes to her music, gender, creativity and sexuality. With the latest changes, though, she’s using the pronouns “they” and “she” – as should be evident from her verified Instagram page. She also happily identifies as queer and pansexual.

By the way, there’s nothing novel about her choices, as nonbinary people often use interchange pronouns and gendered pronouns. The singer Janelle Monae is one person who’d done just that.

Given how fluid she is with her gender, it wouldn’t be out of place for Demi Lovato to switch their pronouns again. Until that happens, fans might want to content themselves with the knowledge that the singer is releasing their album later this month.

And yes, we might share that with you when it drops. So follow us and stay tuned for updates.
