Did Teargas Ruin A Good Thing By Splitting? K.O Speaks

At the peak of it power, Teargas, comprising Bantu Hanabe, K.O., and Ma-E, was one of the finest bands in Mzansi. And then the band had disintegrated, going public with the news in 2014, and leaving those who had followed the group from inception in a state of shock and mourning.

Years have elapsed since the group split, with many fans and even industry chiefs suggesting a reunion. While this sounds grand, former band member K.O. has been giving reasons why the band has not reintegrated and may not reintegrate.

Recently, radio host Sizwe Dhlomo suggested the group ruined a good thing by splitting. This sentiment is deeply shared by fans of the artiste who hitherto made up the band.

Sizwe Dhlomo made his point via a recent tweet, to which K.O has responded. According to K.O., who is also called Mr Cashtime, the story of the split is out there in the public domain. Time happened and group members Bantu Hanabe, Ma-E  and himself parted. However, he expressed the hope up and coming musicians will learn from the group’s split.
