Diddy and Cassie Quickly Settle Sexual Assault Lawsuit

Hip Hop icon Diddy and Cassie Ventura have reportedly quickly settled their sexual assault lawsuit.

The world was stunned to learn that American singer Cassie had filed a lawsuit against Hip Hop icon Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of rape and abuse. Diddy was accused of using his influence to maintain control over Cassie, with whom he had an abusive relationship.

Cassie claimed that the pattern of abuse started in 2005 when she met Diddy at the age of 19. Diddy allegedly introduced her to illegal substances while he abused her. He also forced her to have s*x with male prostitut*s while he filmed it.

Ventura also alleged that she could not refuse his advances because of his status in the music industry. He founded Bad Boy Records and was one of the wealthiest Hip Hop artists.

She described an incident in early 2012 when Diddy became jealous about her romantic interest in another American rapper, Kid Cudi. Diddy allegedly said he would blow up his Cudi’s, and shortly after, Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.

One day after the lawsuit was filed, Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, released a statement announcing the two parties had reached a settlement. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed. Diddy also released a statement wishing Cassie and her family all the best.
