Diddy To Executive Produce Burna Boy’s “Twice As Tall” Album, See Release Date

Burna Boy's "Twice As Tall" album to be executive produced by Diddy

Burna Boy shares release date for “Twice As Tall” album and reveals its executive producer to be Diddy.

For a while now, the world has anticipated the release of Burna Boy’s new album “Twice As Tall”. The forthcoming album is expected to be the followup to his Grammy-nominated album “African Giant”.

The album was announced a few months back, and speculated to drop in July. August 13 2020 has finally been announced as the release date for the album. Diddy has also been announced to be the Executive Producer for the album. In a recent interview with The New York Times, the “Anybody” hit maker spoke about the upcoming album.

He revealed that with the new album he will be “continuing the mission I started, which is building a bridge that leads every Black person in the world to come together“. RevoltTV reports that Burna and Diddy collaborated on the album over a 8-hour time difference via file transfers and Zoom calls. Anderson .Paak and Timbaland also contribute to the album.

Diddy had this to say about working with the Nigerian star;

I’m on record that I like hit records. If they’re not hit records, I don’t like them,” Diddy said. “A lot of times when an artist wants to be coached or pushed to maybe a greater level, that’s where I’ve come in.”

“He, as every artist, he wants his music to be heard by the world. He doesn’t care about crossing over. You know, he’s not trying to get hot. He’s not, like, ‘I want to be a big pop star’ — he’s already a star. He wants his music to be heard, his message, his people.”
