Disney+ Releases Action-Packed Trailer for ‘Star Wars: Visions’ Anime Series

Fans are left anticipating as Disney+ releases an action-packed trailer for the forthcoming ‘Star Wars: Visions’ anime series.

Disney+ has released the trailer for their upcoming anime series, Star Wars: Visions. It is an animated anthology series from Lucasfilm comprising nine short films made by seven leading Japanese anime studios.

In a chat with Deadline about the series, James Waugh, executive producer and VP Franchise Content & Strategy at Lucasfilm said, “Lucasfilm is partnering with seven of the most talented anime studios in Japan to bring their signature style and unique vision of the Star Wars galaxy to this inspired new series,”

He continued, “Their stories showcase the full spectrum of bold storytelling found across Japanese animation, each told with a freshness and voice that expands our understanding of what a Star Wars story can be and celebrates a galaxy that has been such an inspiration to so many visionary storytellers.”

The trailer introduces new heroes, aliens, villains, etc. It features voice actors Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lucy Liu, Henry Golding, Simu Liu, George Takei, Alison Brie, David Harbour, Karen Fukuhara, Bobby Moynihan, Neil Patrick Harris, Kimiko Glenn, Kyle Chandler, James Hong, Jordan Fisher, etc. The entire series will be released on May 4.
