SA Hip Hop DJ DJ Clen announces a hike on his booking fee, which was previously R140k.
2024 is certainly a year for artists and other entertainers to go big. DJ Clen is undoubtedly shooting for the stars because the famous DJ has revealed that yesterday’s price is certainly not today’s price.
The SA Hip Hop DJ had a great year in 2023. He dropped his album “V I R A L.” which was executive produced by A-Reece. The project earned massive reviews from fans. It housed 14 tracks and also featured some of the biggest names on the scene, including Jay Jody, A-Reece, Blxckie, Loatinover Pounds, Blaklez, IMP Tha Don, Pdot O, Frank Casino, Marcus Harvey, and more.
Taking to the X app, DJ Clen announced a hike in his booking fee from 140k to 200k. He thanked his fans for their support and revealed that he is the first Hip Hop DJ to charge that much in the country, attributing to his viral qualities.
He wrote,
“My booking fee is 200k this year. My booking fee is 200k this year. No longer doing the 140k I used to do last year. Thanks for the support.”
He continued, “I’m the first Hip Hop DJ to charge 200k for local gigs in South Africa. Damn I’m Too Viral.”
