SA Hip Hop star DJ Clen shows love to his fans after achieving a major streaming milestone on Spotify.
We all love to see the movers and shakers of the SA Hip Hop scene doing their thing. We were thrilled when DJ Clen dominated the scene with his unanimously loved album, “VIRAL.” The project housed 14 tracks and was executive produced by the talented emcee A-Reece.
It featured contributions from some famous artists including Jay Jody, Touchline, Ginger Trill, KLY, Una Rams, Blxckie, Blaklez, IMP THA DON, and more. The album was praised by lovers of SA Hip Hop and it helped elevate DJ Clen’s rep on the scene.
The star recently took to the X app and announced that the project has achieved a major streaming milestone on Spotify, surpassing 2 million streams. He showed love to his fans, writing,
“Spotify gang. I thank you.”
Last year, the SA Hip Hop star announced that he was changing his booking fee. He wrote,
“My booking fee is 200k this year. No longer doing the 140k I used to do last year. Thanks for the support. I’m the first Hip Hop DJ to charge 200k for local gigs in South Africa Damn I’m Too Viral.”
