It appears there is no end to the drama surrounding South African disc jockey and producer Euphonik, also known as Themba. The news naming the round is that his baby mama, who remains unnamed, has accused him of gender-based violence and of bugging her phone.
The allegations made some netizens reference Bonang Matheba and recall a point where the House of BNG boss had accused Euphonik of GBV as well. At the time of writing, though, the controversial DJ has not said anything about the allegations.
In a case currently at the Johannesburg High Court, Euphonik stood accused of bugging his ex’s phone and of getting violent when she resisted his attempt to rekindle their flame. This made some South Africans recall when Bonang claimed he had assaulted her.
Some people noted that they would believe the ex of whatever DJ Euphonik has to say about her claims, pointing out how he seems to be in many dramas with different women, including being accused of rape (alongside DJ Fresh) years ago.
Anyway, in law, the burden of proof rests on the accuser, and until Euphonik is found guilty by the courts, he’s best presumed innocent. Stay tuned for the next sauce if you please.
