Recently, in a Facebook post, Mzansi songstress Ntsiki Mazwai accused DJ Fresh, one of the music industry’s oldest voices, of rape.
DJ Fresh was said to have quietly reached out to her via his lawyers, asking her to retract, as the post was false and even malicious. Apparently the singer failed to do so, forcing DJ Fresh to seek redress in court.
The court has ruled in DJ Fresh’s favour, describing Ntsiki Mazwai’s claim as utterly “irresponsible.” But Ms Mazwai is holding fast to her claims of rape against the star DJ who has been in the industry for almost three decades.
To emphasize how seriously he takes the rape allegation against him, DJ Fresh has issued a press statement, denouncing, once again, Ntsiki Mazwai’s claim as total falsehood.
Admitting her claims were totally damaging to his person and even his standing as a career DJ who has always spoken out against gender-based violence, the songster said he had to disabuse the mind of the public from the spurious allegations against him, else they might be taken for reality, especially as his accuser Ntsiki Mazwai is a famous person with great social media following.
