We don’t have to wait much longer. The feast is on the table — DJ Khaled’s two new singles, “Popstar” and “Greece,” so to speak. They both feature the Canadian rapper Drake.
These two songs were among the most anticipated in the United States following DJ Khaled’s announcement of what was imminent. The songs are here now — lyrical treats for your listening pleasure.
For two artistes who had treated us to a couple of splendid tunes previously, including “I’m On One,” which nicked the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2011, we are not surprised they maintain their musical synergy in their latest collaborative tunes.

The other track, “Greece,” is equally fine and a pleasure to listen to. But it isn’t our favourite. We admit right away, though, that the sheer self-assurance evident in this song will speak to many out there.
DJ Khaled is currently working on his 12th studio album, titled “Khaled Khaled,” which not only reflects his name but his musical journey up to the present. “Popstar” and “Greece” are taken from that body of work which drops later this year.
