Amapiano star, DJ Maphorisa has asked to be given his flowers while he’s still alive.
Mzansi has watched as DJ Maphorisa established himself as one of the biggest stars in the country and also Africa. He has also lifted a lot of the country’s best talents with him and helped establish them as big stars.
Phori is not one to hold back his opinions about his impact on the SA music scene. He recently took to Twitter to open up about the moves he has made in the music industry. He revealed that he “suffered for the kids to eat proper food (the music industry)”.
He also stressed that if he was not there the game would still be the same. He called it a big sacrifice fighting for the music industry. He also stressed his efforts to make the Amapiano scene what it is today. He’s asking Mzansi to give him his flowers now while he’s still alive.
