DJ Maphorisa teases a brand new song with a very talented young man he found on social media.
In case you’re still an unknown artist, never forget people are watching. That was Phila Dlozi’s story last week when DJ Maphorisa stumbled on a video of him singing on social media.
Activating the searching powers of social media, the “Emcimbini” star urged his followers to help him find the singer. A little bit later, he revealed that he had found him but that he already had a manager. Still, his followers urged him to make music with the dude because we all know he’s got a magic touch.
Thankfully, he heeded. He has now teased a song he created with the singer. He is asking Twitter users what they think about it, and if they should release it. It has since gotten amazing feedback, including a reaction from Focalistic. This is going to be crazy.
