DJ Maphorisa in the spirit of supporting young artists in South Africa, is set to nurture a new artist till he his able to own his masters.
Recently a video of a youngster went viral. The boy was seen in the video making music but his equipment seemed not to be in a good state. DJ Maphorisa upon watching the video promised to get the boy his own laptop and studio, he will also be monitoring him to make his own masters. He opined that such talented young people should not be left unattended to, so their talent doesn’t waste away.

DJ Maphorisa recently let the white flags up in the twitter battle that was going on between Prince Kaybee and him, after he saw the ratings the Prince Kaybee’s song had. The two had been drawn into the argument after DJ Maphorisa opined some artistes do not own their masters.
