Mzansi star, DJ Maphorisa set to open for Wizkid’s North America tour with an Amapiano set.
We love to see it when our favourite hit makers unite for the love of music. For as long as we have known them, DJ Maphorisa and Nigerian Afrobeats star, Wizkid have been good friends. They have created the hits “Soweto Baby” and “Good Love” together, and still keep in touch.
Big Wiz’s latest album “Made In Lagos” has been a massive success since it dropped. The album has dominated charts all over the world including here in SA. Everyone is crazy about it. Now, Phori has been listed as the opening act for Wizzy’s recently announced North American tour.
The Scorpion King has revealed that he would be opening with an Amapiano set. We are so excited for this. The tour kicks off on September 10 in Boston, and ends on January 22 in Montreal.
