Amapiano champ DJ Maphprisa has urged his compatriot DJ Shimza to start playing amapiano on his sets. He made the call via a recent tweet. But Shimza apparently laughed it off.
A fan made it clear that it is not everyone who loves amapiano. DJ Maphorisa stated he knews that much but only wanted to see the response to it on Shimza’s set.
Another fan stated that DJ Maphorisa’s piano offerings are becoming annoying. He noted that every track DJ Maphorisa produced has the same beat. He ended up urging the Blaq Boy Music boss to leave Shimza alone.
DJ Maphorisa was unimpressed by the man’s statement. He wondered how his music is annoying when girls are going crazy over it. Could this be the reason DJ Maphorisa had worked with Kabza De Small on a project dubbed “Pretty Girls Love Amapiano”?

Fun Fact: Shimza, who DJ Maphorisa reached out to, is not a friend with Prince Kaybee, another notable South African DJ and producer, and DJ Maphorisa is not a friend to Prince Kaybee as well. He mockingly calls Kaybee “Princess.”
