DJ Sbu Teams UP With Bar One SA To Power Libraries During Exams

Local entrepreneur and musician DJ Sbu has shown his magnanimous side again by partnering with another company to ensure that several libraries have electricity as students prepare for their examinations.

The songster clued fans in on the initiative with a tweet, detailing the move to help students as they prepare for their mid-year examinations.

According to the MoFaya boss, he is partnering with Bar One SA to ensure that the lights stay on for five weeks as the students prepare for their exams. The initiative is set to benefit institutions like the Randburg Library, Musgrave Library, Winterveld Library and Beacon Bay Library.

Those who want to support the initiative are welcome to do so, according to the Guinness World Record holder. They can do so by retweeting. He is aiming to have at least 1 million retweets for the initiative.

At the time of writing, he had gotten exactly 246 retweets – a long way to go indeed. But then, nothing is impossible. Is there? This is one of several initiatives the celebrated DJ and producer had taken for the benefit of the public. And at this rate, it is safe to say that he would take similar initiatives in the future. Watch out.
