“Dark Caves” crooner DJ Shimza has called out South Africa’s minister of culture Nathi Mthethwa for Ignoring his proposal to curtail the spread of the coronavirus.
The celebrated DJ and producer had asked for funds to continue with his #LockDownHouseParty but was apparently ignored by the Minister and his ministry.
No longer able to hide his displeasure, especially as the figure of persons infected with coronavirus continue to increase, he had taken to Twitter to inform the world his proposal to stop the spread of coronavirus was ignored.
Shimza and his friends had initiated the #LockDownHouseParty following the enforcement of lockdown measures in South Africa to curtail the spread of the coronavirus. When the country relaxed lockdown measures a bit – to level 2 – Shimza announced the #LockDownHouseParty was ending.
Before the official ending of the Party, many artistes from disparate genres had performed on the Party circuit, quietly diverting the Rainbow Nation from the terrors of the virus.
