Idols SA judge Somizi has revealed that when he launched his book, he received massive support from DJ Shimza.
By the way, not only did Shimza buy a hundred copies of the book, he also hosted Somizi at The Hang Awt to give the books away. The Hang Awt is a restaurant owned by DJ Shimza. It was temporarily closed when lockdown measures were enforced in South Africa but reopened when the country relaxed lockdown measures.
Interestingly, many are surprised Somizi, who is famous as a musician and one of the hosts of reality television show Idols SA, is the author of the cook because not many know he is skilled in the kitchen. It looks like the book would put an end to people’s surprises, ultimately.
In case you missed it, Somizi was one of those who criticized Big Zulu’s song “Imale Eningi” because he thinks it divides the rich and the poor.
