DJ Speedsta has just popped in a place on the history books. The songster has just been recognized as the first South African hip hop DJ to receive multiplatinum certification.
Speedsta himself announced his big wins. In an Instagram post yesterday 15 October, the songster noted that his song “Mayo” is now nine times platinum, “I Don’t Know” is seven times platinum and “Bottlebrush Street” is platinum. His single “Combos Communicating” has a gold certification.
In the same post, he indicated his latest song “Chosen One” will be available at midnight. If you haven’t listened to the song, you might want to check it out right here. It is a lyrical winner, really, this song which features Teejay Mokoen and Yanga Chief.
DJ Speedsta is not only a winner in the world of music but in the world of business and recreation as well. The songster recently opened the first black-owned skating hub in South Africa.
