DJ Speedsta opens up about what it meant for him to put on artists like J Molley, Shane Eagle and Yung Swiss.
Everyone knows just how controversial DJ Speedsta is. The media star is also one of the most successful hit makers in the game. He has delivered several multi platinum selling songs.
Many also know how supportive he is of up-and-coming artists. If you looked at his discography, you’d discover that he always features unheard artists sometimes. That’s quite amazing.
In a recent interview with OkayAfrica, he opened up about what it meant for him to put on artists like J Molley, Shane Eagle and Yung Swiss.
According to the “Mayo” star, it gives him joy to see artists who previously sent him dms in the past, standing on their own as artists. He called it “the best feeling in the world”. Here’s everything he said about it,
“There’s nothing that makes me more happy than seeing an artist maybe sending me emails or sending me music for years or reaching out to me for years, and then us eventually working, and then I see them come from being an artist who’s really talented just without a platform, to being an artist who is succeeding and making money.
“For me, that is the best feeling ever in the world. So you’re always going to get a name you know and a name you don’t know in my songs. I’m always going to introduce artists. That’s standard. That’s what I do,”
