DJ Speedsta To Open The Skate Hub In Sandton This Saturday

Back in July this year, word had spread of DJ Speedsta’s plans to build a skate park in South Africa. It was also said at the time that it would be the first of its kind owned by a black in South Africa.

Well, months after that revelation, the park has been completed and a date for official opening given to members of the public.

In a tweet on 29 September, DJ Speedsta noted that the skate park had already been tested by the best skaters in town. He gave the official opening of the skate park as Saturday 3 October 2020.

DJ Speedsta is a lover of skating – as seen in his Twitter bio. It isn’t surprising, therefore, that he should decide to open a skate park – the first of its kind by a black South African. The skate park is called The Skate Hub and it is located in Wynburg, Sandton.
