DJ Sumbody’s Ayepyep Lock Down Session To Air On TRACE Urban, Lamiez Holworthy Enlisted As Host
If coronavirus were human, it would probably be angry right now, being unable to completely silence the South African music industry. Even with the coronavirus pandemic, which has provoked lockdown measures around the world, the music continues, albeit in novel ways.
Notable music channel Trace Urban is on the vanguard of continuing the music and has just enlisted the services of notable disc jockeys and producers DJ Sumbody and Lamiez Holworthy for a new music session that promises to be hold fans’ attention for a long time to come.
Four hours ago today 1 July 2020, Trace Urban announced on its Instagram page that DJ Sumbody’s Ayepyep Lock Down Session will hold every Sunday at 4pm. Owners of DSTV decoders can watch the session live on channel 325.
DJ Lamiez, who is married to Khuli Chana, has a fine record on the decks and turntables and is expected to bring her A-list game to the lockdown sessions.
A fine musician himself, DJ Sumbody has given us several fine numbers previously, including “Ngwana Daddy.”
