AKA’s memorial service was held yesterday and many South Africans couldn’t but take notice of sensibly AKA’s ex-girlfriend DJ Zinhle and his girlfriend at the time of his death, Nadia Nakai, conducted themselves, supporting each other throughout the service.
Before he started a relationship with Nadia Nakai, AKA had dated multiple women, and one of them happened to be DJ Zinhle. He had dated her and broken up with her twice. When they split the second time, he started a new relationship with Nelli Tembe.
Tembe, unfortunately, died soon after in mysterious circumstances. She had allegedly jumped from the 10th floor of the Peppercup hotel to her death. After mourning her for months, AKA had moved on with his life, beginning a new relationship with Nadia Nakai.
After keeping their relationship secret for a while, they had gone public, sharing beautiful moments together. Unfortunately, AKA was gunned down on the 10th of February just after stepping out of Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban and embracing a friend.
AKA’s passing brought DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai together, and South Africans were more than pleased to see how the two ladies supported each other at AKA’s memorial service on Friday.
