Dlala Thukzin’s Phuze (Remix) Goes Gold

Dlala Thukzin’s musical wins continue with his song “Phuze (Remix)” going gold soon after release.

The song had several guests on it, including the late Mpura. Surely, if the dead could see and hear, Mpura would be delighted at the milestone the song has achieved after he crossed to the “other side.”

Mpura had perished alongside five others while heading for a gig. But with the success “Phuze (Remix)” has recorded, it is clear his legacy is still leaving.

Dlala Thukzin may have subtly acknowledged this much when he shared the news of the milestone the song has recorded.

Sir Trill, the other featured artiste on the song, had also shared the milestone on Instagram. In his post, the songster had thanked those who made the milestone possible. He had also dedicated the win to Mpura.

“We did it,” he noted triumphantly in the caption to the post.  Fans thronged the post and deluged Sit Trill with congratulation; some used it as a form of memorial to the late Mpura, whose death was particularly painful to many, including Lady Du, who ultimately memorialized him (alongside Killer Kau ) with a tattoo on her wrist.

“Phuze (Remix)” had Dlala Thukzin as the lead artiste, with Zaba, Mpura, Rascoe Kaos and Sir Trill coming in as guests.
