Doja Cat reveals she tested positive for COVID-19 after mocking the virus on Instagram.
It has been a crazy year with the spread of the Coronavirus which has forced the world to take precautions against it. While many have tried their best to not get infected, some still don’t believe it is real.
After mocking the virus to her Instagram followers, American singer, Doja Cat has revealed that she indeed tested positive for it. Speaking to UK-based radio station, Capital Xtra, she revealed that she got the virus and had a four-day symptom freak-out and is now alright.
Not sure how she caught the virus, she stated that she must have gotten it when she ordered something off of Postmates. However, she didn’t reveal when exactly she caught it. The talented “Say So” hit maker once criticized people taking precautionary measures against COVID-19 on Instagram.
In a previous chat with her Instagram followers, she mocked the virus comparing it to the flu. After stating that she’d get the virus, she continued saying that all you’d have to do if you get it is take some Mucinex, and drink water & some tea and sleep. She is quoted to have said,
“I’m gonna get corona and then I’m gonna get a Corona, cause I don’t give a f— about corona, b—-,”
“It’s a flu. You just take some Mucinex and drink water and tea and sleep — that’s all you gotta do. Y’all are so scared of some damn corona. Y’all are so scared of corona that I need a Corona.”
