Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy is sure making a lot of statements these days. After criticizing the CBN’s monetary policy and bosses who don’t pay their staff, he is now facing the Nigerian government as a whole.
Don Jazzy had taken to his Twitter page to talk about government stifling opposition even as he called for the release of Omoyele Sowore who was arrested and detained by the government.
His tweet read: “This dangerous precedent of stifling opposition voices and dissenting opinions has survived enough. Let’s not pretend our nascent democracy isn’t being sabotaged when citizens shudder at the thought of people they elected into power. I plead for Sowore #FreeSowore.”
