According to recent reports, he has tested positive for the virus. On Wednesday, June 15, the National Institute Of Health announced that he would continue to work from home as he recovers from mild symptoms of the virus.
Aljazeera reports that the 81-year-old scientist who serves as chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden tested positive during a rapid antigen test. According to the NIH, Fauci, who is vaccinated and double boosted, had been in contact with the United States president.
