Dr Tumi has just spoken up about the mugging incident in which he lost his phone to robbers last Wednesday.

Commenting on the incident, Dr Tumi said he wasn’t shocked by it, given the state of crime in South Africa. He was, however, surprised that the mugging went viral. He was also surprised because the mugging took place at a busy spot where a car wash and eatery are located.
When the mugging video went viral on social media, fans had sympathized with the “Wafika Story” muso, with some deploring the state of insecurity in South Africa.
In a social media post, following the incident, the gospel minister thanked his fans and others who have been showing him love following the mugging, returning the love to them.
Dr Tumi is one of South Africa’s most popular gospel musicians and the first gospel artiste to fill The Dome in the country.
