16 MAY, JOHANNESBURG – DR Tumi finally releases the highly anticipated album ‘Give Thanks this Friday the 20TH. Dr Tumi released a track off the album every week for six weeks, accompanied by the visuals released on YouTube leading up to the release of the final product.
The first single was Akekho, a declaration of the greatness of God and how nothing compares to His faithfulness, His love, and His power, followed by You Deserve It, Healing in Your Glory, Jesus You’re my Life, Because of Jesus and lastly The 4th Man.
That gives it a total of 6 tracks from the 14-track EP which was recorded live in an unplugged session, giving the audience an intimate listening experience.
The album titled is self-explanatory, Give Thanks is a worship album that consist of hymns. On the album Dr Tumi declares his love for God and the love of God, he also emphasizes on bond and the relationship that one has with God. This album also shows appreciation to the Son of God, Jesus and can overall be described as an album of spiritual upliftment and spiritual acknowledgement.
