Dr Tumi & Wife Kgaohelo Makweya Exonerated In Fraud Case

Celebrated medical doctor and gospel artist Dr. Tumi and his wife Kgaohelo Makweya have been cleared of all fraud charges. Both were previously accused of defrauding the National Lotteries Commission of about R1.5 million.

The charges against the couple was unconditionally withdrawn after the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) had considered all the facts of the case.

An excited Dr. Tumi, in a statement released on Instagram, shared the news of his and his wife’s exoneration, adding that the beauty of the truth is that it cannot be changed. He had not commented on the case previously, according to him, to avoid sub judice.

His post elicited comments of victories and congratulations from his fans, who were more just as pleased with his acquittal. Some of them even prayed for the musician who’s famous for many milestones, including being the first gospel artiste to fill the 20,000-capacity The Dome

It has been a long walk, but the songster of the “Wafika Story” fame is incredibly excited about the direction the case had taken and the fact he’s free from any blemish.
